Cutting crime and anti-social behaviour is the number one priority as part of the Police and Crime Plan. Our teams are providing a robust focus to cut crime and anti-social behaviour, so people across Dorset see a clear difference and feel safer.

There has been a significant focus on anti-social behaviour in Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport and Lyme Regis. These areas are seeing enhanced police presence as part of the Home Office Hotspot Policing Action Fund and further enhanced patrols as part of the Home Office Safer Street Summer Initiative. The Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee details an uplifts of neighbourhood policing which will assist in tackling issues that affect the people and communities of Dorset, this includes anti-social behaviour.
