The Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information.

Please be advised that we do not record offences by their Act, therefore, searches were completed on Niche for the following SC descriptions:

  • Send/threaten to share photograph or film of a person in an intimate state - s188 Online Safety Act 2023 / s66B SOA 2003
  • Send/threaten to share photograph or film of a person in an intimate state intending to cause alarm, distress, humiliation or for the purposes of sexual gratification - SOA 2003 s66B
  • Share/threaten to share photograph or film of person in an intimate state without consent - SOA 2003 s66B (1) & (9)

1) The number of offences under Clause 66B of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 reported to Dorset Police since 1st January 2024

2) The total number of charges for summary offences under Clause 66B of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 brought by Dorset Police since 1st January 2024; and the number of convictions resulting from these charges.
