The Corporate Development Department have provided the following information.

Please could you provide the following information:
1. Has your police force used the College of Policing's Evidence-Based Policing (EBP) Maturity Model?

No.
We are in the process of introducing the EBP Maturity Model alongside the College of Policing’s Continuous Improvement Self Assessment Matrix (CI-SAM) which follows a similar structure. This will be incorporated into a wider process used as a risk assessment tool for decision makers to assess critical resourcing needs in their departments

2. If so, do you have a policy or formal guidance on the routine use or implementation of the EBP Maturity Model?

No information is held regarding a policy or formal guidance. It is in the early stages of implementation, guidance has been circulated

3. Who within your organisation is responsible for completing or overseeing the use of the EBP Maturity Model (e.g., job title or department)?

Chief Inspector – Performance, Innovation and EBP who is part of Corporate Development.

4. If available, please provide any documentation, policies, or internal communications that outline your approach to the EBP Maturity Model.

The Force’s approach has not yet been finalised and so there is no information currently available.
