The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:
Searches were completed in Niche using the Homicide query, filtering the Victim/Offender relationship to be one of the following:
- Family - other family member
- Spouse/cohabitee/partner
- Ex spouse/cohabitee/partner
- Family – grandparent
- Family – father
- Family – nephew
- Family – cousin
- Family – mother
- Family – niece
- Family – sister
- Family - child sibling on sibling
- Family - child on parent
- Parent/step parent/son/daughter
- Family – brother
Please note, for questions 3 and 4 two separate queries were created to extract all other occurrences that the victims in this dataset have been linked to and all other occurrences that the suspects in this dataset have been linked to. I have then cross referenced the two lists to find instances where both victim and suspect are linked to the same domestic abuse flagged occurrence in the 12 months prior to the murder.
