The Professional Standards Department has provided the following information:
Searches were completed for all conduct cases with a national factor of Police Perpetrated Domestic Abuse (PPDA) between 01/01/2021 to 16/10/2025 and had a role showing as a Firearms Officer. These searches resulted in one such officer that had a misconduct allegation against them in that time, and the allegation result description is showing as no case to answer. The officer surrendered their firearms ticket so did not remain a Firearms Officer throughout the investigation.
All other officers who had a PPDA misconduct case were reviewed, and none are showing as having subsequently become an authorised Firearms Officer.
