Phone theft at Bournemouth airport

1. The number of mobile phones reported stolen at Bournemouth Airport for each calendar year from 2020 to 2024 (inclusive).
   
   
2. If possible, please break the data down by:
   o Terminal or area within the airport (e.g. arrivals, departures, security, retail zones)
   o Whether the theft was categorised as pickpocketing, bag theft, or other
   
   
3. If your system permits, please also include:
   o The number of thefts that resulted in a charge or arrest
   o The mobile phone type by brand and or model
   
   

The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.

I downloaded all data via the crime niche live universe on Business Objects. The timeline is between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2024.

Within the occurrence address building name and occurrence address common name, we searched for the below and filtered on the main crime group to show theft only.

• Bournemouth Airport
• Bournemouth International Airport
• Airport
• Bournemouth Airport PLC
• Bournemouth Airport Transfers Ltd
• Bournemouth International Airport Ltd

All returned occurrences were reviewed and none of them are in relation to theft of mobile phones.
