Phone Theft at Festivals

The Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information.

Searches were completed on Niche for all theft occurrences that contain the keyword ‘phone’ or ‘mobile’ in the occurrence summary and that mention the keywords ‘festival’ or ‘bestival’ in the occurrence entry log.

The results were manually reviewed to determine relevance.

1. The number of reported mobile phone thefts at each festival in your area for the years:
   o 2024
   o          2023
   o          2022

• 2024 - 1
• 2023 – 4 (1 of these was at a non-Dorset Festival)
• 2022 – 7 (2 of these were at a non-Dorset Festival)

2. The number of total thefts in general at each festival in your area for the years:
   o 2024
   o          2023
   o          2022

• 2024 – 6 (1 of these was at a non-Dorset Festival)
• 2023 – 12 (1 of these was at a non-Dorset Festival)
• 2022 – 9 (2 of these were at a non-Dorset Festival)

3. If available, please also provide:
   o The number of stolen phones that were later recovered or found for each year and each area.
