The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:
Please note that the incident database does not record outcomes, therefore, this data is based on searches within the Niche crime database.
Searches were completed in Niche from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025 for all reported occurrences with the main crime group of Theft and Robbery and the property make as ‘mobile phone’ and ‘phone’. In addition to this, searches were completed for the presence of these keywords within the occurrence summary.
Can you provide us with the total number of phone theft incidents recorded by your police force for the year 2024/25?
