The Alliance Operations Department and the Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information:

Could you provide me with the following information by  year since 2020 for the village of Spetisbury:

1. How many accidents have been reported;
We have Interpreted ‘accident’ as Road Traffic Collision (RTC).

There have been 52 RTC damage only and 63 RTC death/injury occureneces.  
In total 115 incidents were reported between 21 October 2020 and 16 November 2025.

2. How many incidents have been reported involving vehicles;
In total 139 incidents involving vehicles were reported.

3. How many occasions the police have been called to attend an incident
Please note Police will only attend if there has been injury/injuries caused or where there is potential danger to other road users.

112 of the incidents listed in question one were attended by the Police.         

4. How many vehicles have been caught speeding in Spetisbury, Dorset between
01/12/2024 to 04/11/2025 by the static camera?
The fixed camera recorded 1,164 speeding activations in Spetisbury 01/12/2024 - 04/11/2025.

5 .How many days has the static camera been in use for the same period period?
The static camera has been in use 328 days in this period.

6. Of those speeding offences what was the highest speed recorded?
The highest speed recorded was 67mph.

7. What was the average speed of those who exceeded the speed limit?
The average speed of those exceeding the speed limit was 37mph.

8. How often has the mobile unit been used in Spetisbury in this period?
The Camera Team visited Spetisbury 13 times in this period.

9. How many Vehicles have been caught speeding in Spetisbury in the last 12
months by the mobile unit ?
There were 129 speeding activations recorded by the camera team between 01/12/2024 - 04/11/2025

9. What was the highest speed recorded?
The highest speed recorded was 54mph.

10. What was the average speed recorded?
    The average speed of vehicles caught speeding by the Camera Team was 38mph.
    
    11. How many near miss reports have been made?
    
    Four reports were in relation to near miss reports, where ‘near miss’ has been interpreted as an informant believing that they or someone else was going to be injured by someone driving dangerously.
