The Performance & Analysis Department has provided the following information:

We searched from 01/01/2017 to 11/11/2025. Once data was downloaded, we filtered out any occurrences in relation to the Online Safety Act 2023 (as this was not needed in this specific FOI request).

The below is in relation to all persons arrested under the Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and Section 1 of the Malicious Communications Act 1988 broken down by year.
