The Road Safety Team Department have provided the following information.

Please note:

Dorset Police issue Notices of Intended Prosecution (NIP’s) which result in, EDUCATION, CONDITIONAL OFFER OF FIXED PENALTY or COURT.

The data therefore identifies the number of NIPs processed at the Central Ticket Office where the outcome is one of EDUCATION, CONDITIONAL OFFER OF FIXED PENALTY or COURT.

Dorset Police do not hold data in respect of fixed penalty fines or fines following a court conviction and the enquirer should be redirected to His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service for that data.

These figures do not include cancelled offences
