Offences detected by Automatic Speed Detection Cameras both Static and Mobile – Dorset Police issue Notices of Intended Prosecution (NIP’s).
Offences detected other than Automatic Speed Detection Cameras i.e. Officer issued Tickets – Dorset Police issue paper Traffic Offence Reports (TOR’s) or submit Digital Traffic Offence Reports (PRONTO).
The data therefore identifies the number of NIPs / TORs / PRONTO processed at the Central Ticket Office over the requested time frame.
