The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:
A yearly breakdown of the total number of cars reported as stolen in your policing area during the periods:
• 1st April 2022 - March 31st 2023
• 1st April 2023 - March 31st 2024
• 1st April 2024 - March 31st 2025
For part 1 of this request, we have searched the Niche Crime Universe for crimes with the Main Crime Group of Theft of Motor Vehicle (TOMV) where the stolen vehicle is listed as “Car”. I have included totals for both the vehicle IDs (Number of cars) and occurrences (Number of instances).

For part 2 we have searched the Niche Crime Universe for crimes with the Main Crime Group as Theft From Motor Vehicle (TFMV).
