Thefts of Luxury Watches & Handbags

The Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information.
Please note that data for this request has been extracted from non-mandatory fields, so this data relies on these fields being populated.
For watch thefts, searches were completed on Niche for Thefts and Burglaries (Residential and Other) with property linked that either has a property common name that contains the word “Watch”, or the General Property Description is “Wrist watch” or “Pocket watch”. The Property Original Value was added to gauge the value of the watch.
For handbag thefts, searches were completed on Niche for Thefts and Burglaries (Residential and Other) with property linked that either has a property common name that contains the word “handbag”, or the General Property Description is “Wallet/Purse” or “Bags/Handbags/Luggage/Case”. The Property Original Value was added to gauge the value of the handbag.
The returned data only includes items that have a property value of over £2k.
Please note that more than one item may have been stolen for each occurrence, therefore, the totals may not match.
Please can I get data on the number of luxury watches and handbags that have been stolen between 2019 -2024?
By luxury, I mean watches and handbags worth £2,000 or more. I would like data in calendar years.
I have split my requests up in two sections. Please let me know if you need me to clarify anything, or need anything else from me.
