The number of people arrested each year since 2014 for ticket touting offences related to football matches.

The request regards touting offences under s.166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.

The Performance & Analysis Department has provided the following information:

We do not record arrest by Act, so we have searched the Niche Custody database for arrests under code ‘CJ94039 - Sell / otherwise dispose of a ticket for a designated football match’.

This has produced a nil return.
