The Alliance ICT Department has provided the following information:
- Does your force currently use Virtual Reality (VR) or Mixed Reality (MR) technologies?
o If yes, please provide a brief description of how they are being used (e.g. training, assessment, guidance, public engagement, etc.).
Yes. VR Headsets and 360-degree camera filming equipment to deliver virtual reality training in-house to supplement and enhance training delivery. VR is also used in Dorset for public engagement as well as promoting wellbeing with staff.

Learning and Development, and Digital Capabilities.
o The intended outcomes of using VR/MR (e.g. competency testing, assessment, certification, skills training, or awareness exercises).
To deliver virtual reality training in-house to supplement and enhance training delivery, promote wellbeing and public engagement.
o The hardware being used (e.g. Pico, Oculus Quest 2, HTC Vive, etc.).

o The software or platform being used (if known).
RiVR and Cyber spotlight.
