Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request ref: 01/FIN/26/004621/B
Version Date: 20/05/2026
The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:
How many incidents has the force recorded involving so called ‘auditors’* at police stations or buildings in the last five years?
Auditors refers to people who film police buildings and their interactions with officers - they may then post the footage online.
Please provide figures since the start of 2020, breaking down into annual figures by calendar year.
Please provide details of the incidents if possible.
Searches were carried out on the crime information system Niche using a keyword search in the Occurrence Entry Log for “auditor” and “Police” where the occurrence address is a police station within the Force or Dorset Police HQ. This returned one result which was a false positive and unrelated to the information requested.
This means that we have found no relevant incidents, this is a Nil Return
