The Central Ticket Office has provided the following information:
Please note that the data supplied relates to officer issued tickets only. (This I have interpreted from the data requested i.e. Using Mobile, Defective lights, No insurance etc)
Dorset Police issue paper Traffic Offence Reports (TOR’s) or submit Digital Traffic Offence Reports (PRONTO) which result in HORT1, VDRS, EDUCATION, CONDITIONAL OFFER OF FIXED PENALTY or COURT.
The data therefore identifies the number of TORs / PRONTO processed at the Central Ticket Office where the outcome is one of EDUCATION, CONDITIONAL OFFER OF FIXED PENALTY or COURT.
The data does not include cancelled offences.
The top five most commonly issued Fixed Penalty Notices (including the number of offences for each one) broken down by year, 2024, 2025 and 2026 to date for:
