Hare coursing

The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:

We have searched the Storm Incident database for incidents with the key phrases of “hare cours” and “hare coars” within either the Inc Description or comments log.

We also searched the Niche Crime database for occurrences that mentioned “hare cours” within the OEL or Occurrence summary.

The occurrences returned in the Niche Crime search were reviewed to remove returns where the key phrase is present solely due to historic or research purposes and not because it is the topic of the report.

Searches were cross referenced against each other in order to not pull through duplicates. 

Please could you send me the figures of how many reports of hare coursing you received during the periods:

1 April 2025 - 31 Mar 2026?
1 April 2024 - 31 Mar 2025?
1 April 2023 - 31 Mar 2024?
