The Performance Analysis Department has provided the following information:

Searched for incidents where the Description contains the following:
- “Hot dog”
- “Dog” and “Car”
The results were then manually reviewed to remove any false positives such as RTCs involving a dog, and to make sure the dog was located inside the vehicle.
I would like to request data relating to incidents involving dogs left in vehicles, particularly in circumstances where there may have been a risk to the animal's welfare (for example, during periods of warm or hot weather).
Specifically, I request the following information for the most recent full three-year period available (2023, 2024, 2025, and any available data for 2026):
