The Alliance People Department has provided the following information:
Please note the data provided is based on those whose half pay date falls within the specified dates and have made an initial request/appeal or reconsideration based on new information to extend full pay on the basis of an illness or injury linked to an injury sustained on duty. Subsequent requests are made to further extend pay where initially approved but these have not been included. This information relates to police officers only
Clarification - the data I require is:
1 April 2024 to 30 March 2025 and 1 April 2025 to 23 March 2026 within your police force:
1. The number of police officers who were reduced to half pay following six months’ absence from work.
01 April 2024 – 30 March 2025
6 officers were reduced to half pay
01 April 2025 – 30 March 2026
24 officers were reduced to half pay
01 April 2024 – 30 March 2025
15 requests were made of which 12 were successful
01 April 2025 – 30 March 2026
13 requests were made of which 6 were successful
