The Professional Standards Department has provided the following information:
Searches were completed for all complaints linked to Police Officers recorded under “Discriminatory Behaviour” between the 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2025 and then filtered on those relating to “Race” and “Sex”. The outcomes were then reviewed for disciplinary sanctions (Written Warning, Final Written Warning, Reduction in Rank, Dismissal, Would have been Dismissed).
1. How many officers received any kind of disciplinary sanction in the (i) 2023/24 and (ii) 2024/25 year as a result of a complaint of (a) racism, or (b) sexism/misogyny?
None.
2. Please state what disciplinary action was imposed for each of the cases referenced in Question 1.

3. In relation to all the incidents in Q.1 where specific racist or sexist/misogynistic words or phrases were used please (i) state what these words or phrases were and (ii) the specific disciplinary sanction imposed on the officer.
