Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request ref: 01/FIN/23/1354
Version Date: 02/01/2024
I would like to request the data on the amount of staff employed by the force which are currently on long term sick leave.
If possible, a breakdown of how many of these staff are frontline police officers would be ideal.
The HR Resourcing Department have provided the following information.
Dorset Police currently has a total of 102 individuals who are currently on Long Term Sick. This is made up of 56 Officers and 46 Staff.
Of the 56 Officers, 32 are in positions categorised as Operational and are therefore considered as being frontline Officers.
This data is taken from a snapshot as of today (08/12/2023) as it was recorded on the system at that time.
